That's the wonderful thing with nerds: they're enthusiasts.
Difference between UV LED and sublimation?
One big difference between UV-LED and sublimation is that once the image is printed and immediately cured with the UV-LED light, the product is finished. There is no need for a heat press to apply the image to the final product as in the sublimation process.
Roll to Roll
UV DTF uses a roll-to-roll system where the film passes through the printer and then through a laminator, efficiently producing ready-to-apply and ready-to-sell transfers that will adhere to any surface.
What can I stick my UV-DTF sticker on?
Rigid Materials. Wood, Metal, Glass, Acrylic and so on.
Is UV DTF Permanent?
UV DTF stickers are permanent and will not fade or peel.
I Do Apparel, Can it go on that?
No.
UV DTF (Direct to Film) printing is an innovative method in the printing industry that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to cure or dry the ink as it is printed onto a film. This technology offers several advantages and unique features:
Key Features and Benefits of UV DTF Printing
-
High-Quality Output: UV DTF printing provides vibrant colors and sharp details, making it ideal for producing high-resolution images and designs.
-
Versatility: This method can print on a wide variety of materials, including textiles, plastics, glass, metal, and wood, making it highly versatile for different applications.
-
Durability: The UV-curing process creates a strong bond between the ink and the substrate, resulting in prints that are resistant to scratches, water, and UV light. This makes the prints long-lasting and suitable for outdoor use.
-
Eco-Friendly: UV inks are typically free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), making them an environmentally friendly option compared to traditional solvent-based inks.
-
Instant Curing: The UV light cures the ink instantly, which eliminates the need for drying time and allows for faster production speeds. This instant curing also reduces the risk of smudging.
-
Customization: UV DTF printing allows for easy customization, making it perfect for personalized items, small runs, and prototyping.
Applications of UV DTF Printing
- Promotional Items: Pens, keychains, phone cases, and other branded merchandise.
- Home Decor: Wall art, tiles, and other decorative pieces.
- Industrial Products: Labels, decals, and overlays for various equipment.
Process of UV DTF Printing
- Design Creation: The desired image or design is created using graphic design software.
- Film Printing: The design is printed onto a two-part special film using UV-curable inks.
- UV Curing: The printed film is exposed to UV light, which cures the ink instantly.
